Downtown Rochester offers a variety of grant opportunities and resources to Downtown businesses and the community.
Façade Improvement Grant
In an effort to assist Downtown merchants in maintaining high quality business spaces, the Rochester Downtown Alliance created the Façade Improvement Grant. In partnership with the City of Rochester, Downtown business owners can apply for up to $20,000 in matching grants funds to improve their properties.
Start-up Event Grant
Up to $5,000 per grant award is available to fund new events, fresh ideas, and exciting programs that will encourage community and business engagement in downtown Rochester between March 2024-March 2025.
Mural Grant
Art adorns outdoor space. That's the whole point of downtown Rochester's new Mural Grant, which helps encourage collaboration and creativity between business and artists to enhance the vitality of downtown.
Parklet and Sidewalk Cafe Grant
The Parklet and Sidewalk Café Grant program is aimed at assisting downtown bars, restaurants, or community organizations looking to construct a sidewalk café or parklet structure.
