Downtown Rochester's amenities are compact into a one-mile radius and downtown is walkable to get where you need to go. But if a quicker option is needed, there are plenty of ways to get around downtown Rochester. Our wonderful city offers a pedestrian skyway system, subterranean walkways (called the pedestrian "subway" system), bus, taxi, car rentals, trolley service, ride-share services like Lyft and Uber, and airport shuttles.
