Parking

If you're driving downtown, you'll find parking for services, restaurants, and retail stores on the street or in a ramp. It is never difficult to find a spot nearby. Parking is free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.

Covered Bicycle Parking

Free covered bicycle parking in downtown’s city-owned parking ramps 

Rentable bicycle lockers in the 3rd St Ramp and Ramp 6 through BikeSpot. Contact SP+ at rochesterparking@spplus.com to check rates and availability. 

Parking Meters

Free after 5 p.m. weekends and all-day weekends 

Enforced 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except the following holidays; New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.  

On-street parking is prohibited on most downtown streets from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. Visit the City of Rochester's website for details. 

Parking Ramps

Free after 5 p.m. weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on weekends  

Enforced for an hourly rate outside of those time frames 

All City ramps are connected through an indoor pedestrian skyway
