The second location of this popular local coffee shop, Cafe Steam's skyway location is located above the old DoubleTree/now UMR housing building east of Broadway from the Galleria. It's a quick stroll in the skyway from the Galleria food court.

Founded in 2015, Cafe Steam was formed with the idea that every great community begins with good coffee. In the short story “A Clean, Well-Lighted Place,” Hemingway writes of a café serving not only as a place of food and drink, but also as a place of refuge neither work or home. Under this same principle, Cafe Steam's goal is to provide a welcoming environment where—amid the din of clinking glassware and the hum of conversation—one can find themselves immersed in life, culture, and the exchange of ideas.
