About the Instructors

Chris Delisle graduated with a BFA in Film from The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where he studied photography and film. After graduation he worked for The Walker Art Center and the Rochester Art Center. For many years, he was a studio assistant for his lifelong friend and mentor, artist Judy Onofrio. It was during this time with Onofrio that he developed a true passion for sculpture and established his ongoing exploration with materials and forms. As a multidisciplinary artist, Delisle’s interests lie in art, music, history, and archeology. He currently makes art and raises animals with his family on their hobby farm just outside of Rochester, MN.

Rachel Obranovich holds a BA in Art from Southwestern University, an MA, and MFA in Painting from the University of Dallas, as well as a certificate in Advanced Studies in Arts and Design from Zurich University of the Arts in Switzerland, where she most recently focused her research in the art of instruction. She has participated in a handful of artist residencies and exhibited her work both at home and abroad, most recently researching Performative Drawing in Brighton, UK. She is All Level Art Certified with several years of teaching experience and currently works as a scenic artist and preschool teacher here in Rochester when she’s not in the studio.
