Total Arts Day Camp is all about building young artist’s skills and confidence in the visual arts. Created in 1971 by artist Judy Onofrio, we are pleased to continue her legacy of learning and creativity for students ages 6 - 13.
At Total Arts Day Camp (TADC) your child will engage in creating their own artworks, learning from professional artists, and thinking about the world around them. Students will gain skills in painting, drawing, mixed media collagé and more! They will tour the galleries, go on a public art scavenger hunt and explore why and how artists use different materials. Every Friday we’ll offer parents the chance to gather for a showcase presented by the students where they will display their amazing creations. TADC is for students ages 6 - 13 years old. Students must be of the minimum required age before their first day of camp in 2023. TADC uses a mixed-ages classroom approach to encourage peer modeling among students. Choose one, week-long session that fits best into your schedule, please note that curriculum will be the same each week of TADC 2023.
Tuition per week
General Audience: $225 per student
Art Center Explorer* Membership: $200 per student
*Member discount on TADC tuition for “Explorer” level members or higher. If you hold the “Contributor” or “Supporter” membership level, contact Advancement Coordinator, Kali Morrison at kmorrison@rochesterartcenter.org to ask how to increase your membership level!
