Play in your first Chess Tournament! (Or maybe it's your 50th!) The Rochester Chess Open is back! And bigger than ever! On July 6-7, Rochester Chess will be hosting the 2024 Rochester Open at the Mayo Civic Center. This USCF-rated event will feature five rounds in four rated sections and is expected to draw some of the best players in the state. Playing in your first tournament? The U700/Unrated section is for you. We will provide chess sets and chess clocks. Cost is $55 online by June 7 with progressive increases up to $95 for onsite registration.
