Join Rochester Ensemble of Dance on a magical journey to the Land of the Sweets! The Nutcracker is a charming and classic story of imagination, wonder, rescue, and excitement, centered around a young girl named Clara, her mysterious uncle Drosselmeyer, and of course the Nutcracker she receives as a Christmas gift. Filled with memorable characters and beautiful dancing, audiences of all ages will enjoy RED's production of The Nutcracker! This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
