The Greater Rochester Arts and Cultural Trust celebrates the 7th annual Fete -celebrating excellence in the arts. Eight individuals and organizations will be honored with the original cast-bronze Ardee sculpture. This year's keynote is LA-based, Rochester-connected Emily Bear, an internationally renowned, award-winning composer, pianist, singer, songwriter in the fields of pop, jazz, classical and film-scoring. Along with her three LA-based band members, she will perform in concert in Presentation Hall at the Mayo Civic Center after the award ceremony. She started composing at the age of 3 and made her professional debut at age 5 at Chicago's Ravinia Festival. This is a family-friendly event and students are encouraged to attend as Emily is still in her teens but her goal is to inspire students. The VIP ticket provides a pre-event reception with food, wine, complementary CD and meet and greet prior to the event at the Rochester Civic Theatre.
