Please join us for a special reading and book signing by author Rose McGee. Rose will be reading from her children's book "Can't Nobody Make A Sweet Potato Pie Like Our Mama" (published by the Minnesota Historical Society Press). From the creator of Sweet Potato Comfort Pie, this heartfelt family story shows how a grandmother’s particular way of caring wraps her loved ones andher neighborhood in a cinnamon-scented hug. Copies of her book will be available for sale at Griot Arts.
