Want to learn more about applying for the Project Grants for individual artists and cultural bearers by SEMAC and be part of the Rochester Art Center’s ROOTED Program? Join us for an online info session + q&a with the Art Center’s staff, SEMAC & Art Center board member Kjellgren Alkire and former ROOTED artists Sophia Chai and Roger Boulay on Tuesday January 12th, 6pm CT. The ROOTED program at Rochester Art Center showcases the most innovative and talented artists from the eleven counties of Southeastern Minnesota. For artists who have received artist grants from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council (SEMAC), the Rochester Art Center provides grant application support, exhibition space and more. Selection if made by a SEMAC jury who will award a $3000 grant to successful applicants. ROOTED exemplifies the commitment of Rochester Art Center to be a central hub for art made in Southeastern Minnesota.
