Join us for an unforgettable celebration of Rochester’s musical talent! The Rochester Music Mashup brought together local songwriters to transform their original music into professionally produced singles—free of charge. Over 60 submissions were received, with a diverse final group selected to represent the rich creativity of our community.
Event Highlights:
- Live performances of each artist’s original song in its raw form (voice + guitar/piano)
- Exclusive first listens to the fully produced versions
- Limited-edition CDs available for purchase ($15 each)
This all-ages event is a showcase of collaboration, featuring artists of all ages and styles—from prog rock to R&B to pop. Produced by Oliver Books and Alex Ortberg, the project highlights the power of community, with recordings made at Blue Lagoon Recording Room and collaborations with Carpet Booth Studio.
Come celebrate Rochester’s music scene and witness just a bit of the talent that makes it thrive.
