Public Art Walking Tour: Peace Plaza
Sundays at 1:00 PM in June & July*

Discover the extraordinary (and sometimes overlooked) works of art in Peace Plaza, Rochester’s “Heart of the City.” Tours meet at 1 PM in front of the Historic Chateau Theater at 15 First Street SW and feature local and internationally-renowned artists like the legendary Charles E. Gagnon, Dakota poet laureate Gwen Westerman, and internationally-acclaimed Ann Hamilton. Peace Plaza Tours are free and open to all and last approximately 45 minutes. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

If you have an excellent experience on one of Rochester Art Center’s Public Art Walking Tours, please make a suggested donation of $5, $10, or $20 online or at Rochester Art Center’s main desk. We appreciate your generosity to keep programs like our Public Art Walking Tours accessible to all, regardless of income.
