Public Art Walking Tour: Art4Trails
Sundays at 1:00 PM in August, September & October*
No reservations required.
Join us for a look at the public artwork in Mayo Park, adjacent to Rochester Art Center. Tours begin at 1:00 PM at the museum’s main entrance, Door 23 of Mayo Civic Center, and continue along a paved path across the Zumbro River. Participants gain a better understanding of Rochester’s innovative Art4Trails program as well as hidden gems by exceptional artists like the legendary Richard Brubaker, Ojibwe sculptor Charles Huntington, American icon James Earl Fraser, and celebrated public art master Po Shu Wang. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In the case of inclement weather, an indoor tour of Rochester Art Center galleries will be offered.
*There will NOT be a tour on Sunday, September 1, 2024
If you have an excellent experience on one of Rochester Art Center’s Public Art Walking Tours, please make a suggested donation of $5, $10, or $20 online or at Rochester Art Center’s main desk. We appreciate your generosity to keep programs like our Public Art Walking Tours accessible to all, regardless of income.
What is the "Art4Trails" program?
