Paradigm Dance Workshop is an educational event that dancers of all abilities ages 4-18 years old should attend. The one-day workshop will be held on Monday, January 16th, 2023, from 8:00am-5:00pm (11:00am-1:00pm for ages 4-5 years old) at the Rochester Hilton. No matter what studio your dancer attends classes at; this is an amazing opportunity for dancers to come together and work with some of the best choreographers and instructors in the industry on a “no-school” day.
Paradigm Dance Workshop's 2023 inaugural staff is composed of internationally respected master instructors and choreographers. The faculty includes Autumn Miller, Gerran Reese, Derrick Schrader, Keri LaGrand, Ricci Milan, Alice Chase, Kathy Chase and Shannon Butterfield Wacha. Several of these expert artists are LA-based and key pillars in the West Coast dance industry. In addition, some are Minnesota natives with deep roots in the dance community. Recent projects they have worked on, and celebrities they have worked with include So You Think You Can Dance, The Voice, The X-Factor, La La Land, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Dancing With The Stars, RuPaul's Drag Race, Beyonce, JLO, Sabrina Carpenter, Cher, Paula Abdul, Lindsey Lohan, Kenny Ortega, Steven Spielberg, and more!
This is the first time a dance workshop of this magnitude has been held in Southeast Minnesota. The Paradigm Dance Workshop team is hoping this inaugural workshop becomes an annual event in our area for the dance community. Registration is available online for both dancers and observers.
