JULY 24 // 6 - 8 pm // GENERAL ADMISSION $5 // RAC MEMBER Free Social isolation is linked to mental disorders and brain-based conditions such as anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, and Alzheimer’s disease. Isolation-induced disorders impact those who experience them, their families, social and health services, and health care costs. Following a tour of the exhibit, a panel will discuss social isolation and mental health concerns among the more vulnerable groups of seniors, persons with disabilities, rural residents, and persons of color.
