Details
Dani A’mor is a classically trained singer hailing from Utah and Colorado where she led a popular band, Danger 5. Now, she has relocated to Minnesota and performs classic neo-soul and “funk-n’roll” covers by artists like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Amy Winehouse. Additionally, she mesmerizes crowds with the creative beauty of her hot originals like Harmonic Rhapsody, Get Over You, and Summer Love.
Most recently Dani has been the opening act for mega-star rapper Ludacris, and twin cities native, Dessa. When not leading her band, you can catch Dani singing with the popular Rochester-based band, The Soul Train.
Music on the Plaza brings live music to the Peace Plaza, encouraging passers by to linger in this community gathering place, and increase the vibrancy of Heart of the City. Enjoy the music of local artists over weekday lunch and happy hours, and Friday night concerts on the Kahler Grand stage.
This program is presented by Rochester Downtown Alliance with support from Mayo Clinic and Winona State University, Rochester. The series is coordinated by John Sievers and Threshold Arts.
