Details

Ben Gateno is a Rochester-based solo acoustic guitarist. Ben has graduate degrees in classical guitar performance from the Eastman School of Music and also specializes in country blues and ragtime guitar music from the early 20th-century. In addition to solo guitar music, Ben plays electric guitar with Luke Hendrickson and the Crop Circles and maintains a busy private teaching studio.

Music on the Plaza brings live music to the Peace Plaza, encouraging passers by to enjoy the music of local artists over weekday lunch and happy hours, and Friday night concerts on the Kahler Grand Hotel stage.

This program is presented by Rochester Downtown Alliance with support from Mayo Clinic and Winona State University, Rochester. The series is coordinated by John Sievers and Threshold Arts.
