Kevin Kleist is a self-taught guitarist who has played music and worked in Mayo Clinic's pharmacy department for over 30 years. Roberta, on bass and Carol on guitar are also accomplished musicians. They toured with their band, Stryker, for 16 years before Roberta decided to go into nursing to eventually become a physician assistant. She now works as a physicians assistant at Mayo Clinic in neurosurgery and she and Carl continue to enjoy making music together.

Music is Good Medicine is a continuing series of performances featuring Mayo Clinic employees, retirees and students who share their musical gifts. This series is sponsored by the Officers and Counselors in collaboration with Mayo Clinic Dolores Jean Lavins Center for Humanities in Medicine.
