March for Our Lives official Rochester protest
WHAT: Poster making and public speeches will take place for the first hour at Peace Plaza.
At around 12 p.m., we will begin our march to the Olmsted Government Center where a moment of silence will be held for the victims of the Uvalde massacre.
WHY: In response to the recent tragic school shooting in Uvalde, TX, March for Our Lives is calling on all of us to act.
On June 11, 2022, a nationwide protest will take place calling for immediate action from local and national level governments to pass life-saving gun reform measures, increase mental health awareness, accessibility and funding and bring an end to gun violence.
