See More Biography Chris Thompson has been a musical force in the Twin Cities for over a decade. He has performed as a solo artist, fronted Signal to Noise and is the sole songwriter for his current project Chemistry Set. Thompson created and hosted the Secret Songwriters Ball at Lee's Liquor Lounge from 2006-2009. He and his band, Chemistry Set, are based in good ole' NE Minneapolis. Steve Smith has been backing Thompson through it all on drums, and has become reknown for his exceptional backing vocals. Jackie Crosby joined the band in 2010 on bass. Chemistry Set will be releasing their second album in May 2011.
