Threshold Arts is thrilled to welcome Koo Koo Kanga Roo to the Castle stage for an afternoon filled with fun, dancing, and music for all ages! 1:30 | Doors open & activities begin 3:00 | Koo Koo Kanga Roo Koo Koo Kanga Roo is the dance-a-long show from Bryan and Neil, two friends who set out to experiment with live music and make it more fun. Armed with nothing more than an iPod, two mics, one giant rainbow and some gold sneakers, Koo Koo Kanga Roo puts on an all-ages dance party that invites everyone to join in. Whether you know them from "brain break" videos in your classroom, the Warped Tour or a late night bar show, you’ve probably gotten sweaty dancing to their jams at some point. Since 2008, Koo Koo Kanga Roo have been touring and putting on shows at clubs, theaters, schools, bars, colleges, church basements, dumpsters and even nursing homes. The duo has toured stateside and internationally with the likes of Frank Turner, The Aquabats, Reel Big Fish, MC Lars, Yo Gabba Gabba Live and have been featured on the Vans Warped Tour. Pre-show activities include: Face painting, a photo booth, spin art with the Sievers, finger puppets with Amarama Art, rainbow crafts with Canvas & Chardonnay, and more! Tickets for individual activities will be available for purchase ($1-3 each), or families can purchase a $10 punch card to participate in all pre-show activities. In addition, Cameo Restaurant will offer snacks and beverages for purchase in Les Fields Hall before and during the show. Cameo also has a great kids menu for families who want to grab lunch while they are here, Queen City Coffee and Juice will have kids drink specials at their coffee bar on the second floor, and the art bar at Neon Green Studio will be open for activities before and after the show.
