ART HEADS LIVE: Kim Schneider // Druzy Rose // Ray Young Art // Edson Rosas Art KIM SCHNEIDER Kim Schneider is a singer-songwriter, poet and dancer based in the Twin Cities. Armed with her electric-acoustic guitar, her music is a fusion of indie-folk and soul. Kim brings a stage energy all her own: playful, demanding and interactive. She aims to empower folks and so her lyrics are about personal growth, self-love and being an all around badass. instagram.com/kymeowsh/ DRUZY ROSE Druzy Rose is a seven piece group born in a basement of Minneapolis, Minnesota in November of 2018. Although driven primarily by dreamy lyrics about the life and times of a part time party girl, full time cynic, the band also features high energy performances on alto and tenor saxophone, piano, synth, guitar, bass, production, and drums. Seamlessly combining the genres of bedroom/ dream pop and piano driven indie, Druzy Rose creates music that speaks deeply to the troubled collective human consciousness in a manner that is both charmingly whimsical and brutally raw. Straying away from boring and bland imagery is something that I love to do with a focus in screen print and the many other methods of printmaking.
