Most people don't understand their health insurance coverage. And many people still don't have health insurance, even though nearly three-fourths of uninsured Minnesotans would likely qualify for some sort of financial assistance for that coverage. There is also a health equity gap, which relates to health insurance literacy. Join us for a short walk-through of the "RACE: Are We So Different?" exhibit, followed by an interactive presentation about understanding your health coverage and a discussion about addressing healthcare disparities by improving health insurance literacy. (Co-hosted by Rochester Public Library and Health Access MN, a MNsure grantee with navigators offering free health insurance enrollment assistance throughout Southeast MN) Registration encouraged—507.328.2309 or rplmn.org
