The D’Sievers is a jazz quartet, featuring trombone, that has been active in Southeast Minnesota for the past ten years. In 2016, the band was one of the featured performers at the Rochester City Jazz Festival. John Sievers studied trombone at the University of Northern Iowa where he performed with the university’s top jazz ensemble. Sievers has also performed with notable musical acts like The Buckinghams, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and Benny Golson.
