Join Dr. Matt Gender in an evening that is sure to be entertaining and knowledge-filled, as he presents a lecture recital on an area of music that is seldom practiced and quite esoteric! If you've ever wanted to experience a type of musical production that uses technology, learn how sounds of pots, pans, light bulbs, wood boards, and poker chips can make a piece of music, or ever asked yourself what music is, and how the artwork of Vassily Kandinsky relates to all of it, this is definitely going to be an evening to remember! Audiences will be immersed in an 8-channel sound system and exposed to the very fringe of electroacoustic compositional practice. Definitely a "won't-want-to-miss" event! No cost. Freewill donation.
