Join Threshold Arts, the City of Rochester, and other community partners as we celebrate the Chateau’s 96th Birthday!
The Chateau Theatre first opened its doors on October 26, 1927 to present plays, concerts, operas, movies, and more. Now under the direction of Threshold Arts, the Chateau welcomes the community and its visitors to gather and experience culture, entertainment, and events in the heart of downtown Rochester.
The birthday celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce, remarks from key partners, live music, collaborative art-making, and the unveiling of our fall-winter program schedule. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available. All are welcome, and advance registration is appreciated!
