In our upcoming musical "The Bridges of Madison County", photographer Robert Kincaid sings of finding the perfect photograph, subject, light, and frame. In this spirit, Calliope is holding our very first youth art exhibit in coordination with the show:
THE BRIDGES OF OLMSTED COUNTY
Photographers from 13-18 years old are welcome to submit their original photographic artwork.
The work must include a bridge (any bridge) in Olmsted County, MN.
Work must be submitted by July 31st, 2022
A panel of professional photographers will select 10 finalists.
Finalists' work will be printed, mounted, and displayed in the Rochester Civic Theatre lobby during the run of 'Bridges of Madison County'
Finalists will be awarded a ticket to attend the closing performance of 'Bridges' on Sunday August 28th.
Audiences at the musical will vote on the 10 works, and the works receiving the most votes will be awarded:
1st place: $250.00
2nd place: $100.00
3rd place: $50.00
