[Rochester, MN] — Rabbi Shlomie Greene will ignite a public Chanukah menorah, standing tall & shinging bright, at the Peace Plaza at 5:00pm, followed by a community-wide celebration on Thursday, December 26th 2024, the 2nd night of the eight-day holiday. The ceremony, organized by Chabad, will feature dignitaries and other guests from within the community. Following the menorah lighting ceremony, the flagship event of the Annual Southern Minnesota Chanukah Extravaganza, we will enjoy donuts, latkes and hot refreshments along with music, holiday giveaways & a gelt drop.
