Movies in the Park returns to the big screen in 2021
Something old, something new: Here's something to look forward to! Movies in the Park presented by the Rochester Downtown Alliance and Altra Federal Credit Union makes a return to Central Park's big screen in 2021. Check out which flicks you can watch for free:
- June 12: “Black Panther”
- June 26: “Casablanca”
- July 10: “Dirty Dancing” (People’s Choice vote in public poll)
- July 24: “Zootopia”
- August 14: “The Wizard of Oz”
- August 28: “Shrek” (Kids’ Choice vote in public poll)
Look forward to more themed activities and movie-inspired food to be announced here closer to the above movie dates! The fun kicks off starting at 7:30 p.m. with the film to follow at dusk.
With COVID-19, the following precautions will be implemented for Movies in the Park:
- The public will be required to reserve a space for the movie date.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be present.
- Masking will be encouraged.
- The Rochester Downtown Alliance is following state of Minnesota guidelines.
