Last Call for Thursdays Downtown 2019
Times flies when you’re having fun at Thursdays Downtown! While it's a bummer there’s just one left, take advantage of what’s left of summer! If only for five minutes to up to five hours, here’s why you should come downtown for the last Thursday Downtown!
VENDORS
This week is your last opportunity to wander through the 115 artisan and food vendor booths! Discover a truly unique treasure, be it jewelry, wood toys, artists’ works, and more. Feast on scrumptious fare like the new food and drink, traditional favorites, or dietary restriction eats. Whatever you seek or crave, the Thursdays Downtown interactive map here will help you locate it!
MUSIC
Thursdays Downtown is going out with a bang in entertainment! On the 1st Avenue Stage presented by Bremer Bank, a variety of musical genres will get you moving to the beat. A Little Too Short to be Stormtroopers will rock your soul with its 11:30 a.m. performance. The Mark Stary Duo’s performance at 5 p.m. will be an eclectic listening experience with songs from the pop, blues, and oldies genres. Finally, The Voice runner-up Chris Kroeze will close the final Thursdays Downtown 1st Ave Stage act with a thrilling country performance.
Kicking off the final performances on the Peace Plaza Stage presented by Rochester International Airport is My Grandma’s Cardigan (an indie folk band from Winona) at 11 a.m. At 5 p.m., Venture Highway of Austin takes to the stage for a 70s radio pop and rock show. Rochester-originated band The Chubs is the final act of Thursdays Downtown on the Peace Plaza Stage.

3RD STREET MINI MARKET
With summer almost gone, so will the fresh produce and other farmers market goods at the People’s Food Co-op 3rd Street Mini Market! From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Historic 3rd Street will be the place to find it all from farm-raised meats, locally grown foods, and naturally sourced goods.
3RD STREET PARTNER ACTIVITIES
Fun and games await you at The Gwaltney Group's 3rd Street activities this week! Get competitive with the bean bag toss, giant tic tac toe, and other games. One of the most unique attractions in the 3rd Street area will be the Megawatt Video Game Party, a mobile video game theater trailer!
