Ladies Night Out and the Love for Adventure
Before I become a mother, I was a world traveller. Part of my travel was associated with my career at the time, and the other part was simply for the love of adventure! I loved collecting stamps in my passport and couldn't wait to discover that next quaint hole in the wall in some far off country.
Now that we have two children under two, our passports are safely tucked away for now awaiting the time when world travel will again be a reality(and it WILL be!). For right now, we are navigating the tricky waters of diaper changes, temper tantrums and story time!
I was thrilled to hear that Rochester Downtown Alliance was planning a Ladies Night Out on March 10th from 5 pm - 9 pm where I can pick up a passport and collect stamps at participating businesses in our lovely downtown Rochester! I can't wait for this event as it will be a small taste of finding that next "perfect spot" and a little bit of adventure right here in our own community!
Sounds like fun, right? Here are a few more details:
1. Pick up a Passport at any of the participating store locations or the table at Shops at University Square
2. Visit and enjoy at least 5 of the listed downtown businesses and receive a stamp from each.
3. Turn in your complete Passport at participating locations for a chance to win a $25 gift card to one of the participating businesses or the Grand Prize of a $25 gift card from all of the participating businesses!
Why not gather up a few of your best mama-friends and head off on a downtown adventure. Getting downtown is easy: parking is plentiful and free after 5 pm and all participating shops and businesses are within walking distance.
