Insider's Guide to SocialICE FAM JAM

We are one week away from our brand new event SocialICE FAM JAM and we can’t wait for you to experience it! SocialICE FAM JAM will be happening on February 9 from 1PM-4PM on the Peace Plaza. Gather your friends and family and get ready for a day of arctic adventure.

ACTIVITIES

  • Build a S'mores Bar with Kraus-Anderson
  • Snowman Yoga with Yoga Tribe MN from 2:30PM - 3PM at the SocialICE DJ Stage
  • Scavenger Hunt with Unraveled Escape Room
  • Exploration Tables by Rochester Downtown Farmers Market
  • Community Art Project - Paint a Giant Mural!
  • Snow Brick building with Rochester Area Builders
  • Bean Bag Game, Complimentary Coffee, and Moka bites with Moka Coffee
  • Appearance by Rochester Grizzlies Ice Hockey

SOCIALICE BAR ACTIVITIES

We’re bringing the cool vibes from SocialICE to SocialICE FAM JAM by hosting kid-friendly drinks and activities through our Ice Bars! Win prizes, meet Nordy the MN Wild mascot, all while sipping on deliciously themed drinks. More details can be found at our Ice Bar Activities blog here!

WARMING HOUSE

Warm up and take a break from the action in our giant igloo warming house! Presented by Somerby Golf Club, ‘The Clubhouse’ will host a real arcade for both kids and parents to try and battle it out, so practice your putt with Golden Tee, and more.

FOOD & DRINK

With all this activity, we’ll make sure you don’t go home hungry! Pizza will be available for purchase from Toppers Pizza - Rochester, MN. If you’re needing a quick pick me up, cookies and hot chocolate, found at the Somerby Tent, will also be available for $5.

PARKING

Downtown Rochester offers several parking options both on the street and in city ramps. Street parking and city ramps (excluding Mayo Clinic ramps) are free after 5PM, and on holidays and weekends (no overnight parking). Click here for more information.
