Have a Holly Jolly Time at This Annual Holiday Event

It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays, with ribbons and bows, tinsel and lights everywhere. Downtown Rochester will be no exception with Hiawatha Homes’ Festival of Trees: A Celebration of Giving coming up November 22-28. Here is a sneak preview of the annual holiday-themed event!

Gaze upon these illuminated and uniquely decorated trees

Downtown Rochester will be all aglow from head (north) to mistletoe (south) and from 4:30 to 10 p.m. November 22-28 when more than 80 uniquely decorated trees find a home in storefronts and other spaces throughout downtown. When the sun sets, that's when the true magic begins, thanks to the Festival of Trees lighting partners, Big Bang Companies and Rochester My Home! With themes ranging from toys to movies to over-the-top-holidays, no two trees are ever the same, which makes the walkable route all the more exciting.

  Find them throughout downtown

Speaking of the route, those 80+ trees are all within our 44-block downtown district and clustered in specific spots to make it an easily walkable adventure. Find an interactive map here or download a printable one here. But if you'd rather park and stroll, that's fine as well!

Search for more holiday fun while downtown

Make it a jolly holiday in downtown by dining, shopping, and experiencing all the things to see and do while here for Festival of Trees. Find other holiday events that come with making the season bright (and there are plenty!)
